As a board-certified psychiatrist, I offer both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy in-person in Westchester and virtually in New York State.

I received my medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed internship and residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I subsequently worked at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center in downtown Manhattan, where I provided psychiatric care in English, Mandarin and Cantonese to the local community regardless of individuals’ ability to pay. I have taught medical students and supervised a resident elective in culturally competent care at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine.

I have received psychoanalytic training and supervision from the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, where I graduated as a scholar in 2021. I have also completed additional coursework and training in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy.

I am proud to offer a culturally-sensitive, open-minded approach to treatment, as I understand that it can be difficult to approach mental health care for many individuals.

I am fluent in English and Mandarin.

What people are saying
“Dr. Tsui was a true professional. She took her time getting to know me and understand what’s going on. She was compassionate and sincere and did not push meds on me like so many other psychiatrists do. I thought she was smart and likeable.”
“At first, l was nervous about seeing a psychiatrist because it’s not really something that’s done in my culture, but Dr. Tsui made me feel at ease right away. She is sincere, nonjudgmental, and concerned. I have been seeing her for therapy every week and it has been eye opening. She helped me through a difficult time and I feel like I’m better able to cope with the situations I’m in. I totally recommend if you understand learning more about yourself.”
“So so so helpful. She treated my postpartum depression and helped me through a low time. She discussed the pros and cons of different medications with me in great detail and addressed my many concerns. We also met for regular therapy which made me nervous at first, but later, it was a big relief to have someone to open up to. I think that she is excellent, especially if you are someone who is interested in learning more about yourself. She is sincere and compassionate. Also knowledgeable.”
“Dr. Tsui is intelligent, a good listener, very pleasant to talk to and really takes the time. I like analytical and listening people like her. It’s the first time in my life I feel excited to talk to a doctor. I would highly recommend her.”
“It was eye-opening. I had some misgivings because I’m new to therapy, but Dr Tsui made it easy to talk about anything. She has also been very thorough in getting to know what my needs are and help me set goals for therapy.”
“Seeing Dr Tsui was my first experience in any type of therapy and she was a good listener, and asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel very comfortable. I’m looking forwards to seeing more of her.”
